Joanne & David Fragoso, 28 March 2009
Notes from Our Couple:
“Dearest Hannah, Josephine and Elena
I've finally had a quiet moment to reflect on the amazing event that just took place. As I start to recall the details of the
wedding, I feel a bit overwhelmed by all the effort that must have gone into planning the day and making it happen.
Everything was picture perfect from the overall decor, to the lighting, to the spectacular flower arrangements right down to
the cards you printed our vows on. And the best part? I did close to nothing!!
I don't think words do justice to how I feel but I'm going to try..."

Uniqueness of this Wedding:
Our Couple
Singaporean & French couple who are so chilled out, knows how to have fun, and simply believes in us to create the magical night for them.
Their Dream Wedding & Our Completion
Joanne & David is the most chilled out couple I have ever met so far in my career as a wedding planner. No fuss, not much requests, but simply wanted to enjoy themselves. I remembered when I first met them, Joanne was so candid, she told me : “Hannah, honestly, I have no idea about flowers or wedding details, and frankly we believe you can do a great job. We just want an exotic Bali wedding, and one where all our guests have real fun together”, and so I went all the way to make this Bali wedding one that I will be proud to showcase.. and you bet I am.

Our Satisfaction
We have done destination weddings before, but this is one concept and setup I personally have dreamt about doing for my own wedding - Dining under the stars around the pool, musicians performing on the floating stage, guests dancing on the floating dance floor and everyone having so much fun that they just refused to go home. And in this wedding, we witnessed one of the craziest party, guests enjoying every minute of the wedding, from the romantic ceremony, to fine dining French cuisine, and finally jumping into the pool after the dancing madness. I will let the pictures share the story with you. Overall, every member of my team and partners enjoyed this project thoroughly, we ended up having fun ourselves though the setup was obviously extensive. But I have to salute the team in Bali, they were superb. Usually in Singapore, besides supervising the setup (which we are in control), we also constantly need to take a step further to supervise the hotel/caterers’ service staff on what to do, and how to serve the guests excellently. Interestingly in Bali, we need not have to do much for the service team here, simply because people in Bali are so willing and serving, they go all the way out to make the guests happy. One of our guests asked for a drink, and was not found at his table, that server instead of leaving the drink at his table, went around the entire 6000sqm villa to look for that one guest to hand over his drink. When I witnessed that, I was truly impressed and as a planner, I can’t wait to plan more weddings here in Bali.
