Singaporean & Taiwanese couple, a pair of food and wine connoisseurs that has such a big heart to share with many.

Their Dream Wedding & Our Completion

Sally is very modern, stylish but has a heart like any true oriental beauty; Wilson is a true breed business man who just want to have a good time with all his buddies. So when I first interviewed them about their dream wedding venue, they both agreed without hesitation that they would love to get married in Maldives, but with such a large family crowd, Singapore seems to be the only practical place to hold this celebration. And I was just wondering : I will love to create this little Maldives for them, sound crazy but that was what we did, with a mix of palm trees and hanging floral silhouette, enhanced by the colours and lightings, we made Maldives come alive within St Regis Singapore.

Our Satisfaction

This concept was more labour intensive that what one can imagine. Those who know St Regis Singapore will know that the ballroom is at level two, and the loading bay is narrow. It was almost impossible for us to bring up the 4 to 5 metres tall palm trees. Who would have imagined that 1 palm tree took 10 strong man to carry up. But as crazy as Hannah can be, we got 12 palm trees to the ballroom, created the landscape for it, and when the lightings and final touches are completed, I have to say we were pleased with the effect. Dining under those Palm trees was magical, but the most magical moment is when you see the smiles of your couple, their friends and everyone who were there to make this day special.
