Oh Nidia loves lilac. So the theme was clearly defined from the beginning -  Lilac Romance, from the flowers, to the dresses, to the decor, the place cards, the program sheets, the cakes and etc, etc. I still remembered in one of the discussions, I was trying to break the lilac with a touch of olive green by adding olive green ribbon to the service program sheet, but eventually when I took one final look at Nidia, ok.. Lilac ribbon is the way to go. ;) 

This is a black tie event, and every guests flown in from everywhere only days before the weddings. This is what I called a true breed American wedding. Wedding rehearsal is only done on  the day before  the wedding, unlike the local weddings, where we are given a month or a week before to manage the rehearsal, and hence the precision for  the rehearsal dry run and wedding schedule is essential to the minute. I truly get to practice all that I have been trained for this wedding. Thank God.

Our Satisfaction
A black tie event of  an overseas crowd is always spectacular.  It is a formal, dressy and yet a very hilariously fun event. And I love to witness black tie event, everyone is so dressed up, and everyone comes to celebrate and party. Sometimes, I wish our local crowd can be more relaxed and have fun in wedding celebrations and not merely attending a dinner and finishing the courses. Wedding is always a celebrations with the couple and with ourselves.. It's time to chill out, dance a bit and laugh a lot. And even the children are having fun enjoying themselves. That's the way to wedding celebrations.
