Notes from Our Couple:

“A simple note can barely say all of how we felt that magical day. It all happened so quickly and suddenly, it ended as quickly as it started… and before we knew, it’s over and done ! Months of preparation and grands of dollars spent to craft a one-of-a-kind wedding, unique to us, and us alone. In fact, family and friends enjoyed the lawn reception so tremendously, marvelling at the works and wonders of the flowers and décor Heaven’s Gift had so ingeniously put together, that it left them reminiscing with awe weeks after the celebration… Han Sia and I would really like to take this time to say “Thank You !” friends are already enquiring and asking for referrals and guess it won’t be long before we get to attend a spectacular wedding administered by Heaven’s Gift. Only this time, we won’t be the jittery couple but ‘tranquil’ attendees…So, thank you again, not forgetting Josephine, Elena and a bunch of others we missed out to thank from behind the scene. Simply magnifito ! Surely a lifetime of memories to savour. :)”

Their Dream Wedding & Our Completion

This is one couple who has met up with almost all the key wedding planners, and was about to sign a contract with another. But somehow something within them just felt they needed to explore further, and they eventually got to know me through the search engines or I suppose through one of our photographers. I remembered Han Sia saying in one of our meetings, “Heaven’s Gift is pretty low profile, I don’t see you in many advertisements, but we are glad we found you”. They were very specific in what they wanted, an outdoor garden reception, one that would reflect Rachel’s love for pretty details, and one that Han Sia is proud to know that his guests enjoyed themselves. So within 2 months, we whipped up a sweet “Laura Ashley” styled wedding for them.

Our Satisfaction

I have to say, despite the couple’s claim that they were fussy about details, yet Rachel is one bride who hardly said much, but trusted every element I proposed to them. When I recalled my first analysis of their dream wedding, Rachel was very quiet and demure. I remembered telling Rachel, I need to know you better, somehow I have yet to get a hold of who you really are, and I desire to inject Rachel’s personality into the wedding. And before I knew, I received an unexpected long email from Rachel, apologizing her inability to express much in our last meeting, and in her one note, she described to me who she was and concluded she had full confidence in us to do a good job. That was such a sweet letter, in fact throughout the wedding, Rachel and Han Sia have always been very tender in all the little gestures and gifts. My unforgettable gift from them was a graphic replica of our café booth which we created for them in the wedding. Rachel has actually drawn the café as an expression of what she remembered in her wedding. Often such kindness touched our hearts. I am so glad we found them as much as they found us. Thank you Rach & Han Sia.
