Before Linda & KC decided to engage us, I remembered one key comment from Linda, “Can you create an unique wedding, one that will wow our guests but within the budget we have?” I don’t exactly remember what my reply was. Yet, I was definitely wanting to do a wedding that is so uniquely theirs, with their assigned budget and one that I am proud to have created with my team. And you bet I am happy to see the final expressions.

Our Satisfaction

This is one wedding that we have spent many, many hours conceptualizing and perfecting. A wedding that is truly unforgettable for us. From the selection of one Cherry Blossom Trees picture, to photo editing it to making it like a garden of Cherry Blossom Trees, to correcting the colours, and working with my floral team from Fiore Dorato from selection of the right flowers, the right combination and finally working with my lightings crew to get the lightings right, all aspect of the project was managed very closely with perfection. We all knew we can’t bring the real Cherry Blossom trees to Singapore. But I wanted to make the Cherry Blossom so real, so that even guests walking up the stage, they can feel real flowers and smell the difference. I made a last minute call to Brenda one week prior to the wedding and asked her : can we bring in 2000 stalks of Matthiola(a flower stalk that looks close to Cherry Blossom buds) to add in to the trees, so my couple can touch and smell the fresh flowers, I will pay for the extras. It sounded crazy then, but that was the perfection I seek for on this project. When I finally walked with KC from the cocktail area to stage, and seeing him touching the flowers, I know we have made it happen once again. All the efforts was worth it all. My ultimate joy was when I saw the guests queuing up to take pictures with the trees, instead of rushing home after the wedding. We have created many beautiful weddings, but this was one wedding that spurred me to look forward to create weddings that are as unique and elegant at the same time.
