Joelle & Jos wanted to rekindle the 1920s charm, elegant, vintage with a blend of the east and west details. And Joelle was always so trusting and so enthusiastic. We created one of the most intimate and homely settings – old times cookies corner where guests get to munch the Hershey chocolates, traditional fancy gems; English and garden hats, lacy umbrellas were provided to make the theme portrait session interesting; a caricaturist for portraits drawing, inspired by Jos’ love for art; Chinese manjong corner set in an English outlook – hilarious but truly homely; and of course, the mood of the day and the decorations further enhanced the vintage charm they both love to see. I just love the colours and the various corners.. somehow I wish we had more.

Our Satisfaction

I still remembered the first unexpected call I had from Joelle & Jos, requesting our help to take over the wedding plan from another coordinator, since not much was done. I can imagine the stress, especially when they were 6 weeks to their wedding. Somehow, despite of the short time, I enjoyed conceptualizing this wedding. This is the first wedding that I got to express my first cookies corner, I could see my team enjoyed all the little touches we created for the coupler despite I must say, the works for creating concept was never easy, imagine the time and efforts from purchasing the glasswares, consolidating the cookies and candies, the packing, the washing, the labels design etc etc., making all look so pretty that you could not wait to have it. And true enough, guests grab the cookies the moment it was displayed. I love that sight, I know we have created something guests enjoyed, and most of all, my couple was always happy when their guests enjoyed themselves. That is the meaning of wedding – a celebration of joy and love.
